Here’s something I think is odd. Here are two reasons why Christians say they oppose gay marriage:
1) Gay marriage will lead to other types of alternative marriage, like polygamy.
2) The Bible is specifically opposed to the concept of gay marriage.
That second point is debatable, but for the sake of argument, let’s say it’s true. The Bible, as far as I know, does not condemn polygamy, and in some places I think it encourages it. So, I don’t follow this, we have to prevent something the Bible condemns, to prevent something the Bible is ok with.
Just something to think about.
